The experimental middle school affiliated to Beijing Normal University was founded in 19 17, formerly known as the girls' middle school affiliated to Normal University. The school is the first batch of demonstration high schools in Beijing, and it is the experimental base of middle school education reform carried out by the Ministry of Education of China and Beijing Normal University. The planning concept takes moral education as the core goal, adheres to the principles and value orientation of students' stand, social responsibility, international vision and practice orientation, and takes it as an action guide for designing and practicing school goals, curriculum structure, student guidance and management mechanism.
Since 1983, the school has taken the lead in exploring the reform of moral education and constructed a new model of school moral education based on student development, with students as the main body and students' independent participation. 65438-0984 school took the lead in curriculum reform in Beijing, and the self-compiled Chinese textbooks were used nationwide after being approved by the State Education Commission.
1995, with the approval of the municipal education commission, a new round of curriculum reform has been carried out in senior high schools, and the curriculum structure is compulsory+major+elective+activity class. Only by realizing "basic diversion" through specialized courses and giving full play to students' individual advantages through elective courses and activity classes can the development function of education be better reflected. From 65438 to 0996, we began to explore a new school-running model. Based on the experimental middle school, the Sino-foreign cooperative school "Beijing Sino-Canadian School" and the system reform school "Experimental Middle School Branch" were established.
