Guangxi University of Finance and Economics and Guangxi University of Finance and Economics are the same university, but they are used to different names. The correct name is Guangxi University of Finance and Economics.

Guangxi University of Finance and Economics is located in Nanning, the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is a full-time undergraduate college and a project construction unit of Guangxi characteristic colleges.

The predecessor of the college can be traced back to Guangxi Business School founded by 1960 and Guangxi Finance and Economics School founded by 1963. In May 2004, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Guangxi University of Finance and Guangxi Business School merged to form Guangxi University of Finance and Economics.

As of May 20 17, the college has three campuses, namely, Ming Xiu Campus, Xiangsihu Campus and Fangchenggang Campus, covering an area of 2,008 mu. There are 14 teaching colleges (departments), 1 continuing education colleges and 3 teaching auxiliary institutions, 25 scientific research institutions and 5 1 undergraduate majors. There are 0/434 faculty members and 25/0/59 full-time students, including 594 junior college students, 0/8792 undergraduate students, 0/37 graduate students and 289 international students.
