CET-4 and CET-6 is a national college English test and one of the exams organized by the Ministry of Education. It aims to test candidates' language ability in English listening, speaking, reading and writing. The content of the exam includes basic knowledge of English, grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening and speaking.

CET-4 and CET-6 are divided into four parts: listening, reading, writing and translation, and the examination time is 3 hours. Test scores are divided into four grades, including Band 4 (425 points), Band 6 (450 points) and Band 8 (520 points).
