Guangxi Normal University is a provincial key university in Guangxi. Its predecessor was Guangxi Teachers College, which was founded in 1932. Its school is located in Yanshan Mountain, Guilin City, and it is one of the early modern normal schools in China. Yang Dongkui is a famous educator, historian and social activist in China, and he is the first principal. Guangxi Normal University was merged into Guangxi University in 1936 and rebuilt in 194 1 year. The campus is located in Dongling Street and Liuhe Road, Guilin City. 1942 was changed to Guangxi Provincial Guilin Teachers College in March, and 1943 was changed to National Guilin Teachers College in August, directly under the Central Ministry of Education. During the Anti-Japanese War (1944- 1945), teachers, students and their families went through hardships in the war, and were evacuated to Sanjiang in Guangxi and Pingyue in Guizhou, and returned to Guilin after the victory of the Anti-Japanese War. 1947 1 moved from Guilin to Nanning and changed its name to National Nanning Teachers College. 1950 merged into Guangxi University again, and then moved back to Guilin. 1953, adjustment of state departments. Since the Tenth Five-Year Plan, seven kinds of teaching materials in our school have won the National Excellent Teaching Materials Award in ordinary universities, 17 kinds of teaching materials have won the Excellent Teaching Materials Award in Guangxi universities, three kinds of teaching materials have been recognized as excellent teaching materials in the autonomous region, and five kinds of teaching materials have been recognized as key construction teaching materials in the autonomous region. Eight academic journals have been published at home and abroad, including Journal of Guangxi Normal University, Oriental Series, Yearbook of Literature Research in Tang Dynasty, Research on Marxist Aesthetics and Guangxi Physics. Journal of Guangxi Normal University (Philosophy and Social Sciences Edition) was recognized as the national core journal of humanities and social sciences in 2002, and was rated as the second national top 100 journal. Since its establishment, Guangxi Normal University Press has been awarded the titles of "National Advanced Collective of Textbook Management in Colleges and Universities", "Advanced University Press", "Good Press" by the General Administration of Press and Publication and "Excellent Press" by Guangxi Press and Publication Bureau. He was nominated for the National Book Award three times, won the "Five Ones" Project Award in Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China twice, and won the China Book Award twice. From 2000 to 2004, Guangxi Normal University Press won the Silver Award and the Bronze Award issued by the General Administration of Press and Publication for five consecutive years in the quality product appraisal of the National Bureau of Book Printing and Packaging Quality. The level of book binding design ranks among the advanced in China.
