Ni, 1932 10 was born in Shanghai on October 6th. He is an expert in power mechanical engineering, an academician of China Academy of Engineering, and a professor of thermal energy engineering in Tsinghua University. 1950 ni was admitted to Tsinghua University mechanical department; 195 1 was recommended to study in Baumann Institute of Technology in Moscow, the former Soviet Union.

Important innovations have been made in establishing an online monitoring and diagnosis system for the performance and vibration process of large thermal power units.
The key problems in the application of advanced gas turbine are solved. The simulation device of gas/steam combined cycle is developed for the first time. It has played a core, organizing and guiding role in the digestion, absorption, application and popularization of advanced gas turbines.
