Guizhou Institute of Technology, located in Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, is a full-time public science and engineering college.

As of June 14, 2022, Guizhou Institute of Technology has two campuses. The old campus is located on the Aha Lake in the southwest of Guiyang, covering an area of 866.7 mu, and the new campus is located on Doctor Road, University Town, Gui 'an New District, covering an area of 1757 mu, with a planned construction area of 669,000 square meters. The school has 19 colleges and 38 undergraduate majors, forming a multi-disciplinary coordinated development pattern with industry, science and management as the mainstay. There are 2 national first-class undergraduate specialty construction sites, 1 first-class construction and cultivation discipline in Guizhou Province, 2 provincial key disciplines and 9 1 6 teaching staff.

20 1 1 In July, the school was founded on the former site of Guizhou University of Technology in response to the need of Guizhou Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Government to implement the strategy of strengthening the province through industry and urbanization. 20 12 was approved by the Ministry of education in March; 2013 April 18 was formally established with the approval of the Ministry of Education.

By 2022, Guizhou Institute of Technology ranked 434th in China University of Soft Science in 2022.
