Northwest university of politics and law (northwest university of politics and law&; Northwest university of politics and law for short, located in Xi 'an, a famous historical and cultural city in the world, is a higher political and legal college funded by the central and local governments and headed by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government. Its predecessor was 1939,1/reconstructed Northern Shaanxi Public School, 194 1 established Yan 'an University and 1949 established Northwest People's Revolutionary University. He was once a key law school directly under the Ministry of Justice of the People's Republic of China, the Supreme People's Court of People's Republic of China (PRC) and Chinese mainland of People's Republic of China (PRC). It is a well-known member university of "Five Institutes and Four Departments", a constituent institution of "Li Ge Alliance", a national key university of philosophy and social sciences, the first batch of "excellent legal talents" training bases of the Central Political and Legal Committee and the Ministry of Education, the northwest base of the "20 1 1 Plan" judicial civilization collaborative innovation center, and also an important national legal talent training base, a legal research and education center in northwest China, and a major town of humanities and social sciences education in western China.

Northwest university of politics and law was officially renamed as northwest university of politics and law from northwest university of politics and law in 2006. The school has 18 colleges and physical education departments, including the School of Philosophy and Social Development, the School of Public Security, the School of Criminal Law and the School of International Education. The main categories of radiation are philosophy, economics, law, literature, engineering, management, art and so on. Among them, philosophy, journalism and investigation are national majors, and law is a famous specialty in Shaanxi Province. There are 65430 postdoctoral mobile stations in the first-class discipline of law.
