The unnamed lake, the largest artificial lake in Peking University campus, is located in the north-central part of the campus. The shape is u-shaped. There is a stone fish sculpture in Hunan, and there is an island in the middle of the lake, which is connected with the north bank by a bridge. There is a stone boat at the southern end of the central island of the lake. There are Bell Tower, Linhuxuan, Flower Bed and edgar snow on the lakeside, and Boya Tower on the east coast. It is one of the landmark landscapes of Peking University.

The origin of the name

1930, invited Qian Mu, a master of Chinese studies, to teach in yenching university. One day, yenching university instructed Si Tuleideng to hold a banquet in his home to entertain his new colleagues.
