Is there a future for studying medicine?
Medical universities are divided into three-year, four-year, five-year, seven-year and eight-year programs according to different majors.

1, junior college for three years;

2. The undergraduate major is a four-year program, such as nursing;

3. The clinical undergraduate course is five years, such as clinical medicine and clinical psychology;

4. The postgraduate course is a seven-year program;

5. The postgraduate degree is an eight-year program.

Employment prospects of studying medicine

There are different trends in social demand for medical graduates. There is a demand for clinical medical talents, and those who are engaged in gerontology, health care doctors, family nurses and other occupations will gradually become popular. Preventive medicine and stomatology are promising in theory, but from the employment situation in recent years, it is more difficult, and the employment of basic medicine and nursing specialty is not ideal.

The difference is that the employment prospects of pharmaceutical graduates are generally good, and the overall supply is less than demand. Pharmaceutical factories and pharmaceutical factories are the big ones to attract such graduates, and the demand for talents in the pharmaceutical industry is rising steadily. In addition, the demand for professional and technical personnel such as trade, distribution, inspection and medical information management in the pharmaceutical industry will also increase. Zhang Shufang, secretary general of China Licensed Pharmacists Association, said that China needs at least 1 10,000 licensed pharmacists.

There are not only differences between specific majors, but also regional differences, which are closely related to the degree of economic development. The more developed the economy, the smaller the demand for graduates in cities. This is mainly because the medical service in economically developed areas started early, and its development is relatively mature and stable, especially the public hospitals in these cities are basically saturated with talents, and few people enter every year. Small and medium-sized cities, because the medical cause is in the stage of continuous progress and development, have a great demand for talents.
