C9 is the first university alliance among the top universities in China. It was launched on June 5438+00, 2009, including nine universities in Peking University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Nanjing University, Zhejiang University, China University of Science and Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology and Xi Jiaotong University. The nine-school alliance is similar to American Ivy League, British Russell University Group and Australian Eight-school Group.
