Later, I consulted my classmates and finally decided to go to a nursing home. After determining the activities, I also planned, contacted the appropriate nursing home, learned from the hospital, and determined the itinerary, activities and the number of people going to the nursing home with my classmates. When the time is fixed, some students can't go because of something, but in the end there is no problem with the composition of the staff. Some people can perform programs, carry things and chat with old people. After getting ready, I also confirmed with every classmate who was going, finally bought a gift, and then went to the nursing home to visit the elderly.
When I visited the old people, I also learned about their living conditions. In fact, there is no shortage of materials, but the fruits and some small gifts we sent also made the old people very happy, especially giving them performances, playing chess with the old people and chatting with them. The students also gave full play to their strengths and made the event a successful conclusion. When we go back, we don't want to see the old people who want to send us away. I also know that I need to organize these activities and go to see them more in the future. The life of the old people is good, but the spiritual life is relatively lacking. It is also necessary for us to give them more care and chat with them. It may not be necessary to have too many material needs, but spiritual needs are really important.
In this activity, I also feel that the students have a lot of experience in this activity, and many students also hope to continue to organize and visit the old people next time. However, although this activity is over, some organizational aspects are not very good, such as buying gifts, and some things are not easy to sell. Then during the activity, some things are not organized, and the performance of the program can be rehearsed several times. In this way, the program can be performed better, and it needs to be done well in the next activities, which is more meaningful.
