The structure of international students is mainly short-term visiting students, with only 2-3 long-term advanced students each year. The countries of origin are mainly the United States, Canada and Australia. After the merger of 1992, the school formally incorporated the work of international students into the key plan, and the work of international students embarked on the track of normalization. Since then, the work of long-term international students has been continuously expanded through inter-school exchange programs, government scholarship programs and other channels. The student structure of the school has gradually developed from the early Chinese studies to various degrees. The learning level covers all stages of doctor, master and undergraduate, and the learning field is extended to 15 major. There are more than a thousand long-term international students in the school. The stable students mainly come from Korea, Japan, Thailand, India, the United States, Germany, Australia and other countries, and the short-term students are nearly 800. On June 5438+00, 2007, our school and Kennesaw State University submitted their applications for the establishment of Confucius Institute to Hanban through the Education Department of Jiangsu Province and the Education Department of the Consulate General in Houston respectively, and in March 2008, they were approved to co-host the Confucius Institute of Kennesaw State University.

At the same time, the school took the lead in co-hosting the Confucius Institute with Queensland University of Technology, and has sent the first China-born dean of the Confucius Institute. In addition, the school also assisted the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education in establishing Confucius Institutes in Su 'an Center (Canadian) and Suman Center (British), and provided China cooking and Chinese teacher assistance to Confucius Institutes in Yansong University and Giant Buddha University. Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools is jointly sponsored by Yangzhou University in China and Charles Stewart University in Australia. The project name is "Bachelor of International Business Education Project".
