School of Information, Huaibei Normal University is a comprehensive full-time general institution of higher learning with undergraduate education approved by the Ministry of Education in April 2004. The college is located in Huaibei City, Anhui Province, a national energy base and a national garden city. The college is built on the mountain, with pleasant environment, convenient life and strong humanistic atmosphere everywhere.
Huaibei Normal University, formerly known as Huaibei Coal Teachers College, was founded in 1974. Originally affiliated to the Ministry of Coal Industry, it enrolled students nationwide. He was awarded a master's degree in 2003. In 2009, it was newly added as a provincial doctoral degree awarding unit and a postdoctoral post setting unit. On March 20 10, it was renamed Huaibei Normal University with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
