School nature

School of Information Engineering of Nanchang University is a secondary college of Nanchang University. College was founded in 1958, majoring in radio physics in physics department of Jiangxi University and electrical engineering department of Jiangxi University of Science and Technology. In July 2003, the School of Electrical and Automation Engineering, the School of Electronics and Information Engineering, the School of Computer and Information Engineering and the Computing Center merged to formally establish the School of Information Engineering of Nanchang University.

School qualification

The college has 5 teaching departments, 3 centers and 8 undergraduate majors. There are 2 doctoral programs in two disciplines, 4 master programs in first-class disciplines and 6 professional master programs. There are 293 faculty members and 237 full-time teachers, including 53 professors and 79 associate professors. There are more than 3 100 undergraduates and 0/300 postgraduates.

Undergraduate majors: measurement and control technology and instruments, electrical engineering and automation, electronic information engineering, communication engineering, automation, computer science and technology, data science and big data technology, artificial intelligence.
