Hu Xiang Campus of China Academy of Fine Arts has settled in the third phase of Hu Xiang, which is within the scope of the second phase of the Financial City.

China Academy of Fine Arts located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province (hereinafter referred to as "Gome") was founded by the people of China, the Ministry of Education, the people of China, the Ministry of Culture and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province. It is a national "double-first-class" construction university and the first batch of key construction universities in Zhejiang Province, and was selected as a national postgraduate project to build a high-level university.

Colleges and universities built by the national "Key Discipline Project with Characteristics", institutions that have won scholarships from the China government for overseas students, the first batch of demonstration universities in China to deepen the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education, the first batch of national animation teaching and research bases, and the first batch of demonstration bases for studying in China by the Ministry of Education are social art level examination institutions.

China Academy of Fine Arts was founded in 1928, which is called the National Academy of Fine Arts. 1929, renamed as National Hangzhou Art Institute; 1938, changed to National Art Institute. 1950, becoming East China Branch of Central Academy of Fine Arts; 1958, renamed Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts; 1993, renamed China Academy of Fine Arts.

Before 2000, it was managed by the Ministry of Culture. In 2000, it became a university jointly established by provincial departments. In 20 16, it was approved as a university established by the People's Government of Zhejiang Province, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Culture.

2011June 9 The school official website shows that the campus of China Academy of Fine Arts covers an area of 1230 mu, spanning Hangzhou and Shanghai, and has four campuses: Nanshan, Xiangshan, Zhangjiang and Liangzhu. There are more than 10000 students and about 1000 faculty and staff.

There are 19 secondary colleges (departments) and 28 undergraduate majors. At present, there are 3 post-doctoral research mobile stations, 4 first-class discipline doctoral degree authorization points, 5 first-class discipline master degree authorization points and 3 master degree authorization points.
