Brief introduction of Northeast Forestry University

Northeast Forestry University was founded in July, 1952, formerly known as Northeast Forestry College. It was established on the basis of the Forestry Department of Zhejiang University Agricultural College and the Forestry Department of Northeast Agricultural College, and was directly managed by the former State Forestry Department. /kloc-0 changed its name to Northeast Forestry University in August, 1985. In March 2000, it was placed under the direct management of the Ministry of Education by the State Forestry Administration.
