Jinan University is a comprehensive university jointly established by Shandong Provincial People's Government and Ministry of Education. Located in Jinan City, Shandong Province, it is one of the key high-level universities in Shandong Province. The school was founded in 1948, and was officially named Jinan University with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 1993.
