For more than forty years, Academician Meng has made great achievements in teaching and scientific research. His monographs "Praise of Garden Art in Summer Resort" and "Landscape Architecture Project" have far-reaching influence in the field of gardens. In addition, he also participated in the compilation of important works such as Encyclopedia of Architecture, Urban Planning and Gardens in China, History of Ancient Architectural Technology in China, and Collection of Architectural Design Materials. Since 1990, his graduate students and doctoral students have won the first prize of the World University Student Design Competition organized by UNESCO and the International Federation of Landscape Architects for four times, winning glory for the country and the school. The document of international landscape architecture teaching organization issued by UNESCO ranks first in China series.
Over the years, Academician Meng has presided over many important landscape architecture design projects, and won the praise of leading experts at all levels and the society for its high quality and high standards. His design of Shenzhen Huxian Botanical Garden won the first prize of Shenzhen Landscape Architecture Design and the Excellent Design Award of the Ministry of Construction. The garden design of Beijing Lijing Garden Villa, which he presided over, won the first prize of excellent design of the Ministry of Forestry. 1997 won the second prize for environmental design of Xiamen Runjing New Village, the fourth designated residential building in China (no first prize). In the work of teaching, scientific research, teaching and educating people, he has been rated as a model of patriotism in Beijing for many times, won the Baotou Steel Education Award Fund, and was a model of national outstanding scientific and technological workers' morality in colleges and universities.

Male, born in May, 1963, 1983 got a bachelor's degree in architecture from Tongji University,1991-kloc-0/995 got a master's degree in landscape architecture from Beijing Forestry University, and studied in Kassel University Town, Germany. 65438-0996 began to teach at the School of Landscape Architecture, Beijing Forestry University. He is currently the vice president, professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Landscape Architecture. In charge of the discipline of landscape architecture planning and design in the School of Landscape Architecture, he is the leader of this discipline. The main research work is landscape planning and design, including scenic spot planning, urban landscape design, park design, company garden design, living environment design and garden architecture design. Beijing Polysemy Landscape Planning and Design Research Center was established in September 2000, which is a studio engaged in theoretical research and design practice of landscape planning and design.
At present, he is a professor at the School of Landscape Architecture of Beijing Forestry University, the head of landscape planning and design discipline, the doctoral supervisor, the vice president, and the presiding designer of Beijing Multifunctional Landscape Planning and Design Research Center.
