The Academy of Fine Arts has three undergraduate majors: painting (Chinese painting, oil painting), visual communication design and environmental design, and four master's degree authorization points: Fine Arts, China Minority Art (Fine Arts), Fine Arts (Master of Arts) and Art Design (Master of Arts).
The college has a strong faculty, with 53 faculty members, including 46 full-time teachers, 9 professors, 20 associate professors, 27 master tutors, provincial famous teachers 1 person, and 3 provincial excellent courses. The College has hired a group of well-known experts and scholars as part-time and visiting professors, and established Northwest Folk Art Institute, art design laboratory, ceramic studio, Tibetan architectural painting and other institutions and student practice and innovation bases. In recent years, the college has actively participated in local economic construction, strengthened academic exchanges and cooperation at home and abroad, undertaken a number of art research projects, and won many provincial and ministerial art awards for its achievements.
