Yueqing Radio and TV University focuses on specialized education, and also offers undergraduate, technical secondary school education and various non-academic education. The school keeps emancipating the mind, seeking truth from facts and keeping pace with the times. Especially in September, 20001year, the pilot project of modern distance education was approved by the provincial electricity saving conference, which laid a solid foundation for the sustainable development of Yueqing Radio and TV University. There are four subjects in our school: economics, law, literature and science and engineering. There are 14 majors in financial accounting, Chinese language and literature, law, primary school teacher education, business administration, administrative management, computer, etc. * * * There are 35 teaching classes, with nearly 1600 students, 20 teaching staff and more than 20 part-time teachers, and rich teaching experience. Over the past 20 years, more than 600 college graduates/kloc-0 and more than 500 non-academic education and training/kloc-0 have been trained. It has delivered a large number of talents urgently needed for modernization for all fronts in Yueqing. They have become the backbone of all units and departments, and many of them have taken up leadership positions at all levels, which have played a positive role in Yueqing's reform and opening up and the construction of two spiritual civilizations. Because of its outstanding achievements in running schools, 1993, 1995 and 1996 were rated as advanced units in tertiary education by Power Saving University, and won the third prize for the achievements of the ten years of education reform in Yueqing.

Radio and TV universities, especially those in line with China's national conditions, are conducive to training talents quickly, well and economically, with strong vitality and broad development prospects. Therefore, Yueqing Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government attach great importance to the development of higher education in our city and decide to move Yueqing Radio and TV University to the city education park to accelerate the development of Yueqing Radio and TV University. The planned land area of the new campus is 6600 square meters (100 mu), with a total investment of 40 million yuan. The school scale will reach 44 classes, 18 majors and 3,000 students, and efforts will be made to upgrade Yueqing TV University to Yueqing College of Zhejiang Radio and TV University.
