Keywords: college students; Love; intelligence

Throughout the ages, love has always been a constant topic. On the university campus, love has aroused great concern from society, families, schools, teachers and students. According to incomplete statistics, 80% of college students have been in love during their college years, and the proportion of girls is slightly higher than that of boys.

Shakespeare once said that love is not a sweet talk in the shade of a tree, a sweet talk in a peach blossom garden, a faint tear, or a stubborn compulsion, but a spiritual communication based on * * * *. The Dictionary of Marriage and Family describes love in this way: love is a lofty emotion existing between human sexes, and it is a comprehensive physiological and social phenomenon based on the instinct of life reproduction between human men and women and ensuring the greatest physical and mental comfort.

This paper holds that the so-called love is the strongest, most sincere and lasting attraction and admiration between men and women based on physical and psychological needs under certain social relations. First of all, love is between men and women; Secondly, love is a kind of high-level emotion, which contains cognitive elements and is not equal to low-level emotion; Third, love has its physiological basis, including sexual desire and sexiness, which is not equal to pure spiritual love; Fourth, the basic tendency of love is dedication. Love psychology is the sum total of people's curiosity, closeness, love and other behaviors to the opposite sex on the basis of physical maturity and psychological development and under the influence of certain social environment, as well as the resulting psychological phenomena [1].

First, the motivation of college students to fall in love

College students' love is different from some love events in society, which is produced at a specific time, at a specific stage and among a specific group of people. The love of college students is more pure and non-utilitarian than that of adults. However, with the gradual integration of campus into society, college students' love motives also show a diversified trend.

(1) Physiologically mature

At present, most college students are between 18 and 22 years old. Physiology believes that the physiological changes of young people in this age group are still in the stage of rapid development. College students of this age are basically mature or tend to be mature in all aspects of physiology. The maturity of the body, especially the maturity of sexual organs and the development of secondary sexual characteristics, will inevitably lead to the germination and awakening of sexual consciousness, leading to feelings of yearning, pursuit and admiration for the opposite sex. This is the natural attribute of human beings, the original opportunity of love initiation, and the internal driving force of college students' love.

(2) Emotional needs

After college students enter the university, on the one hand, they are eager to communicate and understand with others, on the other hand, they also have a very strong desire to show themselves. Especially in the opposite sex, I will do everything possible to show my strengths and abilities, and I will perform better. When I associate with the opposite sex, I will feel a sense of pleasure and improve my psychological excitement. So when they meet the ideal love object, they look for opportunities to explore and pursue. A survey shows that 58.40% of college students choose "emotional sustenance" as the main purpose of love, which shows that emotional demand is one of the main factors leading to college students' love.

Research shows that [3] love is not entirely out of the pursuit and yearning for beautiful love, but also has other non-emotional factors, such as loneliness, emptiness, pleasure and utility. In addition, college students' love styles are gradually diversified, and "fast food" love, utilitarian love and online love begin to appear. There are also many irrational ways to treat lovelorn, and some even take extreme ways to endanger their own and others' lives.

(3) Psychological factors

There are many psychological factors that lead to college students' love. First of all, desire and curiosity are the primary factors leading to college students' love. The unknown is always mysterious and full of temptations. Coupled with the rendering of love stories in many film and television works, it is especially tempting for many college students who have no love experience. So when love knocks on the door, they will try to satisfy their own needs and curiosity.

Secondly, conformity and comparison psychology. Individuals are influenced by the behavior of the outside crowd, but in their own perception, judgment and understanding, they show a behavior that conforms to public opinion or most people, which is called conformity psychology. Some students didn't have the idea of falling in love, but seeing the students around them talking about it will stimulate the motivation and behavior of falling in love. Especially several students in the same dormitory, once someone starts to fall in love, others will talk about it one after another. Besides, some students fall in love to keep up with the joneses and satisfy vanity. For example, some students see that they have found an object with strong economic strength, and others will also want to find an object beyond others to satisfy their vanity, but they don't think much about whether their interests, personalities and backgrounds are compatible, whether their languages, goals and ideals are consistent, and so on.

Finally, getting rid of loneliness is also one of the factors that lead to college students' love. Nowadays, most college students are far away from their parents and relatives to study in different places. When they come to strange places, they often feel helpless and lonely. In addition, college students often face the pressure of interpersonal communication, choosing jobs and studying in exams, which makes them feel depressed. Only love, establishing close relationship with the opposite sex, can divert attention and get rid of loneliness with love.

(D) the influence of foreign cultures and changes in values

The Internet age has created the quickest and easiest channel for information transmission. In addition, as college students participate in various social practice activities, they are gradually integrating into this society and being influenced by it. For example, the western values of love and marriage are gradually affecting the love view of contemporary college students through their film and television works and online media; In addition, the establishment and development of socialist market economy has led to the diversification of values, and some negative factors in college students' values have influenced their thoughts and behaviors, such as blind pursuit of pleasure, irresponsibility and dance academy. The change of China people's concept of marriage and the conflict of family contradictions also impact college students. Therefore, they are eager for marriage. Marriage should be based on their own feelings, and it is inevitably influenced by the western concept of marriage and love, which leads to many problems about whether or not to fall in love and how to fall in love, and it is difficult to choose. In addition, the diversification and stratification of social values make college students with imperfect personality appear different degrees of deviation in the face of love [4].

Second, the love characteristics of college students

(A) open love behavior, love younger.

With the development of society, college students' love also shows the characteristics of changing with social changes. First of all, college students' love time moved forward, and they became younger. Many college students begin to fall in love in a short time, such as a week or two. This kind of love is often blind, love at first sight, and has no emotional foundation. Secondly, the number of people in love on campus has increased. Falling in love in college is considered as a very fashionable behavior and trend. In some dorms, as many as two-thirds of the students are in love or about to fall in love. Third, the act of love is open. With the development and opening up of society, college students' love has become commonplace and accepted by schools, students and parents. Therefore, college students' love is no longer a secretive behavior, and couples can be seen eating together and going to school together everywhere on university campuses.

(2) The process of love relationship and the fragility of love result.

After all, college students have not left the campus, especially in the economy and career, so there will be no real material guarantee and commitment to the love between the two sides. In a survey on the main purpose of falling in love during college, it is found that 28.3% of college students choose to experience the happiness of falling in love, 37.6% choose to enrich their college life, and 1 1% choose to get married and start a family in the future. This shows that college students are concerned about the process of love, not the result of love. Therefore, college students often emphasize the "present continuous tense" of love and separate love from marriage, regardless of the "unfinished tense" of love; Love is not for the purpose of marriage, but often only for emotional sustenance, and the success rate of love is very low; Slogans such as "Don't care about eternity, only care about what you once had" and "Break up after graduation" are gradually accepted among college students.

(3) The motives of love are diversified, and the concept of marriage and love is open.

Studies have shown that 70% of college students have had love experiences, among which 37.4% of college students' love motivation is to eliminate loneliness, and 57.6% of college students think that the purpose of love is "to experience the happiness of love", "to enrich college life" and "to catch up with the fashion of love", and the pursuit is "not to last forever, but to have it once". Carry Love to the End is just a fairy tale of campus love.

Third, college students' love education countermeasures

College students' love is an unavoidable phenomenon on campus. For schools and teachers, it is very important to give the right medicine and correct guidance to college students' love.

First, establish a positive and healthy campus cultural atmosphere. An active, healthy, colorful and fun-filled campus cultural atmosphere is very important for the physical and mental development of college students and plays a subtle role in their growth. Schools should take various activities, such as giving lectures to students regularly, teaching them to fall in love, and guiding students to correctly handle the relationship between study, life and love; Develop colorful campus cultural activities, cultivate students' noble taste and sentiment, attract and divert students' attention, eyes and interests, let students devote more energy to campus activities, and reduce students' chances of falling in love.

Secondly, guide college students to correct their love motives. Love is a noble feeling, a kind of advanced spiritual life of human beings and occupies an important position in life. Life without love is incomplete, but love is not the ultimate goal of life. Students should establish such an idea, and only with a correct view of love can they seek and establish a beautiful love. Schools, society and teachers should actively guide students to establish correct love motives and a highly responsible attitude towards love through various means. If you fall in love at the right time, don't judge people by appearances, don't judge people by economic basis, family background and other conditions, but should combine "congenial" and "like-minded", pay attention to the personality, internal quality, personality characteristics and hobbies of the lover, prevent all kinds of bad motives in the process of falling in love, and enable college students to overcome the negative effects brought by negative factors, so as to correctly understand and grasp love and hobbies.

Finally, enhance the ability of college students to resist the frustration of lovelorn. Losing love is often inevitable in the process of love. Many lovelorn students are unwilling to face the reality of lovelorn, and they are in great pain. College students should be prepared to accept the loss of love and bear the pain caused by it. College students should realize that things always have two sides, and they should rationally realize that since love is successful and sweet, there is also pain and bitterness after lovelorn. Besides, there are many setbacks in life, and love setbacks are just one of them, so we should accept them with a positive attitude. Schools and teachers should pay more attention to and guide the lovelorn students, help them find out their own advantages and disadvantages, analyze the gains and losses in this love process, sum up experiences and lessons, so that students can learn to grow up in setbacks, constantly transform themselves, temper their character and quality, enhance their ability to withstand setbacks and meet a better life.
