Brief introduction of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications:
Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications is a national "double-first-class" construction university and a class A construction university under the high-level university summit plan of Jiangsu Province. Its predecessor was the Eighth Route Army War Post Training Course, which was born in 1942 in Shandong Anti-Japanese Base Area. It is one of the earliest schools in our party and army to systematically train communication talents. 1958 was transformed into an undergraduate college with the approval of the State Council, and was named Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications; In April 2005, it was renamed Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications.
The school was originally a key university directly under the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications and the Ministry of Information Industry. Since 2000, it has been jointly established by the central and local governments (now the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State Post Bureau and Jiangsu Province). In 20/0/7, kloc was selected as the first batch of "double first-class" universities in China, and in 2022, it was selected as the second round of "double first-class" universities.

At present, the school has developed into a university with engineering as the main body, electronic information as the feature, science, engineering, economics, management, literature, teaching, art, law and other disciplines blending with each other, and multi-level education such as postdoctoral, doctoral, master's and undergraduate courses developing in harmony. The school is located in the famous historical and cultural city of Nanjing. There are four campuses, namely Xianlin, Sanpailou, Suojincun and Jiangning, and 25 colleges (departments and centers). In addition, an independent college, Tongda College of Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, was established in Yangzhou.
The school has 3 postdoctoral mobile stations, 8 doctoral degree authorization points for first-class disciplines, and 1 doctoral degree authorization point (category). There are 23 authorized points for master's degree in the first-level discipline, 12 authorized points for master's degree (category) and 6 1 authorized points for undergraduate majors. National comprehensive professional reform pilot project 1 unit, 9 majors have passed the national professional certification of engineering education, and 8 majors are national excellent programs.
