Xiangxing College of Hunan University of Chinese Medicine was approved by Hunan Provincial People's Government in June 2002 and confirmed by the Ministry of Education in 2003. Hunan University of Chinese Medicine, a holding university, has a history of more than 80 years, covering an area of 1 393 mu, with more than 20,000 students. It is a key undergraduate college in Hunan province, the first batch of universities in China to set up national key disciplines, and the first batch of Chinese medicine colleges to recruit doctoral students, international students and students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
