I. Sun Yat-sen University
Sun Yat-sen University, formerly known as the National Guangdong University (formerly the First National Sun Yat-sen University), is the highest institution of learning in Guangdong Province. Later, a few years later, it was renamed as National Sun Yat-sen University, and the word "National" was included in 1952, which became the present Sun Yat-sen University. At present, Sun Yat-sen University is still the best university in Guangdong, with a number of A-class disciplines and double-class construction disciplines, and it is one of the truly prestigious universities in China.
Second, Wuhan University
The National Second Sun Yat-sen University (National Wuchang University) is one of the predecessors of Wuhan University, and was later renamed as National Wuhan University. 1949 was renamed as Wuhan University. In 2000, Wuda merged with Laowushui, Laowucai and Hu Yi University to form the present Wuda.
Third, Zhejiang University.
The predecessor of the third National Sun Yat-sen University is the National Zhejiang University. 1952, department adjustment, National Zhejiang University split into several schools. 1998, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou University, Zhejiang Agricultural University and Zhejiang Medical University merged to form the present Zhejiang University. At present, the strength of Zhejiang University is good, and it is the university with the largest number of A disciplines in China.
Fourth, Nanjing University.
The former Jiangsu Duoxue University was merged and reorganized into the National Fourth Sun Yat-sen University, later renamed Jiangsu University and later renamed National Central University. 1952 Nanjing university has undergone a large number of discipline adjustments, only retaining arts and sciences. After a new year's development, Nanjing University has not merged with other universities, and it is still one of the universities in China, second only to Tsinghua Peking University.

The 5th National Sun Yat-sen University was renamed Henan University, and 1942 was upgraded to National Henan University, becoming one of the most powerful universities in China at that time. Later, in the adjustment of departments, many departments and disciplines were split.
