Academic cooperation of China University of Mining and Technology
The International Union of Higher Education in Mining, Energy and Environment was established in June 2009. Sino-German Energy and Mining Area Ecological Environment Research Center, referred to as Sino-German Center, was established in September 2008. Under the active advocacy of former German Chancellor Schroeder and former German Ambassador to Germany Lu Qiutian, well-known enterprises such as China University of Mining and Technology, Bochum University of Technology, DMT and DBT jointly established the Sino-German Research Center for Energy and Mining Ecological Environment.
