Motherly Love Like a Mountain is an urban emotional drama directed by Lei Zi and starring Jiang Linjing.

The play tells the story of a self-reliant and loving mother who went through emotional hardships and took care of her family for three generations.

The story happened in a remote mountain village in southern Anhui. Ma Juan, a widowed middle-aged woman, married Wang Zhixin, a widowed middle-aged man in the same village. It was a promising new life. However, due to Wang Zhixin's lack of family responsibility, his stepson Zhuo Wang's resistance to him, and his own son Wang Qun, who works in the provincial capital investment and development company, became a fugitive because of illegal loans, Ma Juan was in deep trouble.

However, the stubborn Ma Juan refused to bow to fate. With extraordinary perseverance and tenacity, he propped up this unusual home with thin shoulders. In the end, Ma Juan warmed Zhuo Wang's heart, made Wang Qun lose his way, and wrote a hymn of maternal love.
