Second, the school introduction

(1) Guangzhou Southern College (formerly Southern College of Sun Yat-sen University) is an independent college jointly established by Sun Yat-sen University and Guangdong Zhujiang Investment Co., Ltd. with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2006. It is a multi-disciplinary full-time application-oriented undergraduate institution of higher learning, and was selected as a pilot institution of undergraduate curriculum reform in Guangdong Province in 20 16.

(2) The school has gathered a group of department heads, academic leaders and management backbones who have inherited the fine traditions and spiritual culture of domestic first-class universities. They have always dreamed of promoting the reform of higher education in China in this "experimental field" of the school, realizing the mission of building a first-class private university in China and walking in the forefront of applied universities in China.
