Beijing Film Academy is an art school supported by the Beijing Municipal People's Government, the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television and the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). It is an institution that accepts scholarships from the China government for overseas students in China, the governing school of the International Federation of Film and Television Colleges (CILECT) and the executive chairman of the Asia-Pacific Film Annual Conference, the first batch of art colleges that undertake the national "863" project, the excellent school for undergraduate teaching level evaluation of the Ministry of Education, and the teaching management of overseas students in Beijing.
2. Central Academy of Drama
The Central Academy of Drama, directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC), is the headquarters of China Higher Drama Education Alliance, the headquarters of Asian Drama Education Research Center, the secretariat of the World Federation of Drama Schools, the activity base of the World Federation of Drama Schools, the first batch of "double-first-class" world-class discipline construction universities in China, national high-level university graduate program universities, national "featured key discipline projects" universities and China government scholarships. The Central Academy of Drama is the first drama education institution in New China, and it has a UNESCO seat in drama education.
3. Shanghai Theatre Academy (STA, abbreviated as "Shangxi") is an art college in China that trains drama professionals. The College was jointly established by the Ministry of People, Culture and Tourism of China and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government. It is the first batch of national master's degree awarding units and doctor's degree awarding units approved by the State Council, the first batch of experimental training units for artistic professional degrees, a Shanghai government scholarship institution for foreign students, a member of the World Federation of Theatre Colleges and Universities, and a member of ITI/UNESCO International Federation of Performing Arts Colleges and Universities.

Shanghai Theatre Academy, formerly known as Shanghai Experimental Theatre School, was founded in June 1 945+February1. 1949 10, Shanghai Experimental Theatre School was renamed Shanghai Theatre Academy. During the period of 1952, the national colleges and universities were reorganized, and the drama department of Shandong University Art Department merged with the Shanghai Xingzhi Art School Drama Troupe and was formally established, renamed the East China Branch of the Central Academy of Drama.
1956 was officially named Shanghai Theatre Academy, which is a public institution directly under the Ministry of Culture. In April 2000, it was handed over to Shanghai and the Ministry of Culture for construction. In June 2002, the former School of Performing Arts of Shanghai Normal University merged, and Shanghai Opera School and Shanghai Dance School became affiliated schools.
