The PLA Medical College does not belong to the 985 Project or the 2 1 1 Project. The PLA Medical College, affiliated to the General Logistics Department of the People's Liberation Army of China, is the only hospital institution in the whole army. It is the first medical school approved by the Ministry of Education to award master's and doctor's degrees. China People's Liberation Army Medical College was founded in 1958, formerly known as "Military Medical College", and was officially renamed as "China People's Liberation Army Medical College" with the approval of the Central Military Commission in 201. Although it is not a 985 or 2 1 1 university, it still has a high level and strength in the field of medical education and research, with many key disciplines and laboratories and strong teachers. PLA Medical College is not only strong in medical education and scientific research, but also has made remarkable achievements in personnel training. For example, PLA Medical College has enrolled 348 graduate students, including academic graduate students 158 and professional graduate students 190. These graduate students are distributed in clinical medicine, stomatology, nursing, integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine, biomedical engineering and other different professional fields.
