North China University of Science and Technology Light Industry College was established in 200 1, which is an independent college approved by Hebei provincial government and confirmed by the Ministry of Education.

The college is located in Tangshan City, Hebei Province, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei-"Capital Economic Circle", with a superior geographical position and beautiful environment. Hebei United University, the predecessor of North China University of Science and Technology, was approved by the Ministry of Education in May 20 10, and was formed by the merger of the former Hebei University of Science and Technology and North China Coal Medical College. On February 20 15, it was renamed North China University of Science and Technology with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
