Guangzhou University of Commerce was established in 1997, located in the core area of "Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City" in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. It is a full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education, focusing on economic management, literature, law, engineering, art and other disciplines.
The school's predecessor was kangda college, Zengcheng, South China Normal University, which was founded in September 1997. It is a secondary college of South China Normal University. In 2004, it was transformed into an independent college and renamed Zengcheng College of South China Normal University, which is the first independent college in Guangdong Province. 2065438+May 2004, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, it was transformed into an independent private university and renamed Guangzhou Business School.
The campus covers an area of nearly 1 1,000 mu, with a total construction area of over 300,000 square meters. Eight experimental practice teaching centers have been built, including 23 computer rooms, 73 professional laboratories, 12 language laboratory and 140 off-campus practice bases.
