The ACM National College Student Competition has set up the Chinese mainland Qualifying Division since 1996, which was hosted by Shanghai University and held for five consecutive times until the final of 200 1. A total of 78 teams participated in the finals. They stood out from 4 109 teams from 6 continents 1582 universities and passed the regional preliminaries at all levels. In the global finals held on the morning of April 6, local time, the host team of Shanghai Jiaotong University was the only team among all the participating teams that solved eight problems, thus winning the global championship for the second time after three years.

The global finals of the 34th ACM acm International Programming Contest for College Students hosted by Harbin Engineering University was held in Harbin on February 20 10, and Shanghai Jiaotong University won the championship again.
