The Historical Evolution of the Former Gansu Institute of Education

The former Gansu Institute of Education was transformed from Lanzhou Workers and Peasants Accelerated Middle School and Gansu Normal University 1962, and was established in 1950 and 1956 respectively.

1955 In July, Gansu Provincial Department of Education decided to merge Northwest Normal University Workers and Peasants Accelerated Middle School into Lanzhou Workers and Peasants Accelerated Middle School.

In September, 1956, Gansu Five-year Teachers College was established in Lanzhou Workers and Peasants Accelerated Middle School.

1In August, 958, Lanzhou Workers' and Peasants' Accelerated Middle School was changed to Lanzhou Workers' and Peasants' Middle School (ordinary middle school), which was still the "integration of the two schools" of Gansu Five-year Normal College.
