Jinan University was founded in 1906, formerly known as Nanjing Jinan School. It is the first overseas Chinese university in China, directly under the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, and the first university in China to set up a graduate school. Jinan University has the largest number of international students and students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan in China. In 20 17, there were more than 3,000 students from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan in Jinan University, accounting for 40% of the total freshmen.
Jinan University is a comprehensive university which focuses on liberal arts and integrates mathematics, business administration, art, geography, biology, chemistry and medicine. And established an academic exchange platform with Birmingham University. 20 17, United International College of Dabo University officially enrolled students. Students from the Joint College of Dabo University can transfer directly to Birmingham University. After graduation, I have a double diploma from Jinan University and Birmingham University.
Jinan University is located in Shipaiqiao (Headquarters), Tianhe District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, and there are other branches in Tianhe District, Guangzhou University Town, Shenzhen and Zhuhai.
