There are more than 5,000 teaching and administrative staff (including directly affiliated hospitals), including full-time teachers 1 130, including 64 1 person with the title of associate high school or above, more than 800 tutors for master students, 43 tutors for part-time doctoral students and 8 postdoctoral tutors, respectively with Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Nanjing.

Yan 'an University has more than 2000 students (1882 undergraduates). After the merger, the college has 23 faculty members/kloc-0, including 85 full-time teachers and 35 with the title of subtropical high or above. The college consists of three departments: clinical medicine department, nursing department and medical technology department, 17 teaching and research section, 7 laboratories, 3 experimental centers and an experimental animal farm.
