1 and what are the requirements for mit undergraduate application?
Education background: Students are required to have studied at least the following courses in high school: mathematics (including calculus), biology, chemistry and physics. According to the present situation of senior high school education in China, both science students and arts students in senior high schools in China can meet the above requirements.
Language requirements: international students or domestic students can't speak English and need to take two exams.
Scheme 1: SAT or ACT, with two SAT subject exams: a math subject (1 grade or 2) and a science subject (physics, chemistry or biology e/m).
Option 2: TOEFL test (we don't accept IELTS) and two SAT subject tests: a math subject (1 level or 2) and a science subject (e/m in physics, chemistry or biology). The minimum total score of the new TOEFL test is 90, and each item is not less than 23. The total recommended score is not less than 100.
Although MIT attaches importance to clear and concise writing and integrates it into all undergraduate courses, they do not require students to complete ACT writing or SAT elective papers.
