Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, referred to as Fujian Agricultural University for short, is located in Fuzhou, the gateway of the Maritime Silk Road and the first coastal port city in China. It is a provincial-level key university with the advantages of agriculture and forestry and the coordinated development of science, engineering, economics, management, literature, law and art. It is a university jointly established by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the State Forestry and Grassland Administration and the Fujian Provincial Government, and is a first-class university in Fujian Province.
At present, the school has 12 authorized points for doctoral degrees in first-class disciplines, 27 authorized points for master's degrees in first-class disciplines, 16 authorized points for master's degrees, and1mobile post-doctoral research stations. National key disciplines 1, national key cultivation disciplines 1, 2 key disciplines of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and 7 key disciplines of the State Forestry and Grassland Administration.
The school is a "scholarship institution of China government" by the Ministry of Education, and more than 200 international students from nearly 50 countries are studying for their degrees here. The school took the lead in enrolling students independently in Taiwan Province Province.
