1, Xi An Railway Vocational and Technical College, referred to as "West Railway Vocational College", is a full-time ordinary institution of higher learning approved by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government and filed by the Ministry of Education. It is a public university jointly founded by Xi Railway Transport Workers College and Xi Railway Transport School. The college is located in Xi 'an, one of the four ancient capitals in the world. It has four campuses, namely Hadron, Longshou, Lintong and Wugang, covering an area of 1.060 mu. It is a civilized campus and a safe campus in Shaanxi Province.

It is an ordinary institution of higher learning approved by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government and put on record by the Ministry of Education. It is a comprehensive public ordinary higher education institution formed by the merger of the old famous school of the former Ministry of Coal, Shaanxi Coal Workers Medical University, provincial and ministerial key secondary school of coal hygiene and Shaanxi Coal Workers University. It is one of the institutions with higher education qualifications confirmed by the Ministry of Education.
