How do secondary school students get into college?
There are three main paths for the college entrance examination:

1, register for the national college entrance examination.

This is easy to understand, that is, secondary vocational school students and ordinary high school graduates register as required in the national unified college entrance examination registration period (generally 165438+ 10 and 65438+ February of that year) to participate in the national unified college entrance examination in June of the following year. It should be noted that there are three differences between secondary vocational school students signing up for the general college entrance examination and ordinary high school graduates:

(1) Reference ID is different. Secondary vocational school students are social candidates, and ordinary high school graduates are fresh graduates and repeat students;

(2) The registration channels are different. Students in secondary vocational schools should go through the registration formalities at the county-level enrollment department where their household registration is located, submit their identity and academic credentials as required, fill in a series of lists and enter them into the college entrance examination registration system; Ordinary high school students take the college entrance examination in middle school, and students do not need to go to the local recruitment office to register themselves;

(3) Review for preparation is different. Secondary vocational school students prepare for the college entrance examination themselves. Of course, you can also participate in the counseling of off-campus education and training institutions, but you can't accept the organized review and preparation of high school teachers like ordinary high school students.

Liang Shi, the coffin nail of the college entrance examination of the Mathematics Department of Sichuan University, has participated in the college entrance examination for 24 times, that is, she signed up for the college entrance examination as a social candidate.

2. Sign up for higher vocational education.

For secondary vocational school students, this is the easiest way for them to go to college. However, secondary vocational school students can't get into famous universities by signing up for the single-recruit examination in higher vocational colleges. Because the colleges that implement the single-recruit examination in higher vocational colleges are generally junior colleges, and there are fewer undergraduate colleges, at most two colleges.

When secondary vocational school students sign up for the single-recruit examination in higher vocational colleges, they must finalize their own professional categories and choose 1 from the clear 13 categories of finance, politics, law, normal school, machinery and computer.

Compared with the ordinary college entrance examination, the examination is more difficult. Only Chinese, mathematics and English are tested, as well as basic professional knowledge, and arts and sciences are not tested. The total score of each subject in the higher vocational single-recruit examination is also 750 points.

It should be noted that higher vocational colleges are organized, propositioned, tested and enrolled by all provinces, and the enrollment colleges are also higher vocational colleges in the provinces where candidates are located, so candidates cannot enroll students in universities outside the provinces.

3. Sign up for the adult college entrance examination

Adult college entrance examination is also a national examination, which recognizes academic qualifications and is open to working people and other social personnel except students in institutions of higher learning and secondary schools. It is held every year 1 time, and registration will start in the middle and late August. The exam will be held on 10. After paying the registration fee, the secondary vocational school students are deemed to have successfully registered. If the payment is unsuccessful, the registration is invalid and you cannot take the exam.
