The School of Nursing and Health of Zhengzhou University is a directly affiliated department of Zhengzhou University, and it is a national "World-class University Architecture University", "2 1 1 Engineering University" and "Ministry-Provincial Cooperative Architecture University". The college, formerly the Health School affiliated to Henan Medical University, was founded in 193 1. In July, 2000, Zhengzhou University, Henan Medical University and Zhengzhou University of Technology merged. The Health School affiliated to Henan Medical University was affiliated to Zhengzhou University and renamed as Zhengzhou University School of Nursing.
