Yangtze University has six majors. They are:

1, finance 1: computerized accounting;

2. Others 1: nursing, Chinese-foreign cooperative education;

3. 1 civil engineering: construction engineering technology;

4. There are two kinds of electronic information: applied electronic technology and computer application technology;

5. Medical and health care: nursing. Yangtze University is located in Jingzhou City, Hubei Province, a famous historical and cultural city in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. It is a comprehensive university with the most comprehensive disciplines and the largest scale among colleges and universities in Hubei Province. It is a key university in Hubei Province and has been approved as a national "double-class" construction university. It was selected as the national "Basic Capacity Building Project for Universities in the Midwest" and is a pilot university of the Ministry of Education's outstanding engineer education and training program, outstanding agricultural and forestry talents education and training program, and outstanding doctoral education and training program. It is also a university jointly established by Hubei Provincial People's Government, China Petroleum and Natural Gas Corporation, China Petrochemical Corporation, China Offshore Oil Corporation, Hubei Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Agriculture.
