Cobo English test is a preliminary test subject, but it is not a national unified test subject. Cobo English is independently proposed by the doctoral admissions institution. Some doctoral admissions institutions will give the outline and questions of the Cobo English test, but most of them don't. However, most doctoral enrollment institutions have the following exam questions: Cobo English reading comprehension, Cobo English cloze, Cobo English composition, Cobo English translation, Cobo English vocabulary questions.

There are two kinds of Cobo English, namely, the entrance examination of Cobo English in Hubei universities in Hubei province (some universities are independent propositions, such as Wuhan University and Huazhong University of Science and Technology); National unified foreign language examination for medical doctors (most medical colleges and universities are unified national examinations, and some colleges and universities still make their own propositions).

Each doctoral admissions institution arranges the examination time separately, and candidates are requested to pay close attention to the examination enrollment brochure and the notice of initial examination and re-examination issued by the admissions institution.
