2. Zhejiang Media College is a college jointly founded by People's Republic of China (PRC), State Administration of Radio and Television and Zhejiang Provincial People's Government. The school's predecessor was Zhejiang Radio and Television College, which was merged in 2000 by Zhejiang Radio and Television School (founded in 1978) and Zhejiang Radio and Television College (founded in 1984). In 2004, the school was officially renamed as Zhejiang Media College.

3. Zhejiang Media College, known as "Guangzhou in the north and Guangzhou in Zhejiang in the south", is a university approved by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province, and is one of the main bases for training media professionals such as radio and film in China.
