On April 20 19, the school official website showed that South University of Science and Technology was approved to build 9 provincial-level scientific research platforms and 27 municipal-level scientific research platforms, including 4 key laboratories of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, 4 key laboratories of Guangdong Province, 2 key laboratories of universities in Guangdong Province, 2 engineering technology research centers of Guangdong Province, 7 key laboratories of Shenzhen City and 3 engineering research centers of Shenzhen City.

4. Extensive academic resources.

By the end of February, 20 16 and 16, the total number of Chinese and foreign paper books in China South University of Science and Technology reached 209,822 (Chinese 165842, foreign languages 43,980), including 79 Chinese newspapers and 44 foreign languages. The construction of electronic resources is the focus of library collection development. There are 100 databases in Chinese and foreign languages, including 433,264 e-books and 578 e-journals, covering all aspects of literature information resources needed by school teaching, scientific research and general education.

At the same time, with the help of the "Shenzhen Document Port" service platform, teachers and students of South University of Science and Technology can use millions of books and various document resources in university libraries such as Shenzhen University Town, Shenzhen University, Shenzhen Institute of Technology, Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) and Shenzhen Library to realize the sharing of document information resources.
