Curriculum system

Beijing Open University takes ability training and curriculum management as the core, and has built a multi-level and step-by-step learning achievement certification system that pays equal attention to knowledge and skills, and integrates academic education, vocational skills training and existing experience certification. Students enter the school according to the curriculum and implement a complete credit system. All courses must have credits and all courses must have certificates.

Learners learn, design, choose, build and develop independently here. According to students' academic achievements and course credits accumulation, they can obtain corresponding academic certificates and graduation certificates (course certificates, vocational qualification certificates, academic certificates and degree certificates). The Open University also grants credit certification to students who have obtained relevant academic qualifications in other institutions in the past.
