Cooperate with foreign countries. According to the announcement issued by official website of Ningbo University, the Sino-Canadian cooperative education project of Ningbo University was approved by Zhejiang Education Department 1996, and was jointly organized by Ningbo University and Canadian Humber Public College. It is one of the oldest and most standardized Sino-foreign cooperative education projects in China and the only legal unplanned Sino-foreign cooperative education project in Zhejiang Province. Ningbo University was founded by Mr. Bao Yugang, the world ship king. It is a national "double-class" university jointly established by Zhejiang Province, Ministry of Education and Ningbo City.
