Hubei University for Nationalities is a provincial general undergraduate college with undergraduate education approved by the Ministry of Education. It is a provincial key construction university and a university jointly established by the provincial government and the State Ethnic Affairs Commission. During the 13th Five-Year Plan period, the school established 1584 innovation and entrepreneurship training program for college students, and approved 125 national innovation and entrepreneurship training program and 375 provincial innovation and entrepreneurship training programs. Students won 1927 prizes in various disciplines, including 99 national prizes and 1828 provincial prizes.
