Jiangxi Jinggangshan University is two universities. Jinggangshan University, referred to as Jingda for short, is located in Ji 'an City, Jiangxi Province, where Jinggangshan, the cradle of China revolution, is located. It is supported by the Jiangxi Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Jiangxi Provincial People's Government hold consultations to support the construction of colleges and universities. The extended information school was founded in 1958, and has gone through the process of merging and renaming the school. Since 1977, the schools are Jinggangshan Branch of Jiangxi Normal University, Ji 'an Teachers College, Jinggangshan Teachers College, Ji 'an Branch of Jiangxi Medical College and Jinggangshan Medical College. In July 2003, Jinggangshan Normal College, Jinggangshan Medical College and Jinggangshan Vocational and Technical College merged to form Jinggangshan College. In August 2007, Jinggangshan College was officially renamed Jinggangshan University.
