What are the civil engineering majors?
In the undergraduate enrollment plan of colleges and universities, civil engineering majors include two or more of the above majors, which does not mean that several majors should be completed in four to five years. The specific majors and directions will generally be subdivided in the second year of university. For example, since 2008, Sichuan University has enrolled students according to civil engineering, including civil engineering and water supply and drainage engineering. The advantage of this enrollment is to avoid the blind pursuit of a certain major when candidates fill in their volunteers. The disadvantage is that it is difficult to satisfy every student at present by dividing the majors.

Civil engineering refers to the planning, construction and maintenance of all infrastructure related to water, soil and culture, including urban planning, civil engineering, traffic engineering and other disciplines. The Civil Engineering Teaching Steering Committee consists of nine discipline steering committees, namely, civil engineering, building environment and energy application engineering, water supply and drainage science and engineering, building electricity and intelligence, architecture, urban and rural planning, landscape architecture, engineering management and engineering cost, real estate development and management, and property management, corresponding to1specialty in the undergraduate specialty catalogue of colleges and universities.
