1. Gardening

Main courses: botany, plant physiology and biochemistry, applied probability statistics, genetics, soil science, agricultural ecology, horticultural plant breeding, horticultural plant cultivation, horticultural plant pest control, horticultural product storage and processing and marketing.

Training objectives: This major trains senior scientific and technological talents who have the basic theories, knowledge and skills of biology and modern horticulture, and can engage in horticultural science-related technology and design, promotion and development, operation and management, teaching and scientific research in agriculture, commerce, landscape management and other fields and departments.

Training requirements: Students in this major mainly study the basic theories, knowledge and skills of biology and horticulture, receive basic training in scientific research, production and management of horticultural plants, and have the basic abilities of horticultural plant production, technology development and popularization and horticultural enterprise management.

2. Water conservancy and hydropower projects

Main courses: theoretical mechanics, material mechanics, hydraulics, structural mechanics, soil mechanics, rock mechanics, engineering geology, engineering drawing, engineering survey, engineering hydrology, elastic mechanics and finite element, building materials, reinforced concrete structure, steel structure, water resources planning and utilization, water conservancy project management, hydraulic construction, hydropower station and water conservancy project construction.

3. Agricultural resources and environment

Main courses: soil science, plant nutrition, land resources science, resource remote sensing and information technology, soil and agrochemical analysis, plant nutrition research methods, soil investigation and mapping.

4. Seed science and engineering

Main courses: plant breeding principles, genetics, crop cultivation, plant pathology, agricultural entomology, agricultural ecology, soil fertilizer, seed biology, seed production, seed processing and storage, seed inspection technology, seed pathology, seed marketing, seed quarantine technology, etc.
